How can I work on my self-esteem?
Hi, I have recently moved abroad for my studies (it’s been 2 months). I consider myself an introvert but I’m generally a confident and professional person. A lot of things have changed since I moved to this new place and I have started experiencing very low self-esteem. I am nervous, I have more frequent episodes of anxiety attacks (I used to have anxiety attacks in the past but not as frequent). These are all personality traits (signs of neurosis) and I have been trying to work on these things one at a time but I don’t know how I can feel more confident and work on my self-esteem. I thought I would start feeling more confident once I got more familiar with the new place but this isn’t working for me and I feel more nervous. This is affecting my work mostly. Can you suggest how I can work on my self-esteem?
